16th Annual Donor Network West Foundation Run/Walk
The Donor Network West Foundation hosts the 16th annual Stride for Hope event in San Ramon, California. This community gathering serves to honor and celebrate organ, eye, and tissue donors and recipients while raising awareness for donation. The event is centered around the 5 km distance and includes activities for various age groups and interest levels.
Participants can choose from the following categories:
- 5 km San Ramon Run/Walk (Ages 15+)
- 5 km San Ramon Run/Walk (Ages 14 & Under)
- Kids Dash
The event takes place at 2700 Camino Ramon and features a structured schedule that includes a welcome ceremony, a group Zumba warm-up, and an active cooldown session. An awards ceremony follows the completion of the distances. The foundation has established a fundraising goal of $200,000 to support its mission, and individual participants who reach specific fundraising milestones may receive rewards in the form of gift card codes for the organization's online store.
Registration is available at different price points, with early bird rates offered for those who register several months in advance.
