27th Annual Donor Dash - Washington Park, Denver, CO
The Donor Dash is a 5K run/walk held at Washington Park on July 19, 2026. The event honors the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrates organ and tissue recipients, and recognizes people who are waiting for a lifesaving transplant.
Participants may share a photo and a short message via the event Dashboard; submitted photos and messages are displayed during race morning to highlight personal connections to donation and transplantation. An on-stage recognition ceremony features stories related to organ, eye, and tissue donation. Ribbons for the ribbon connection are available near the finish area and at a ribbon tent by the expo.
Early packet pickup is offered at the Donor Alliance office at 200 Spruce Street in Denver. Packets for participants who register later are available on race day. Team captains are responsible for collecting and distributing their team’s packets.
Registration fees listed for the event include processing charges: adults (ages 18 to 59) $44.79; seniors (60 and above) $28.74; youth (17 and under) $28.74.
Roads surrounding Washington Park will be closed and inaccessible to vehicles during the event. Limited parking is available at South High School and on nearby streets; organizers advise carpooling where possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
