9th Annual Doniphan Diabetes Dash

The Doniphan Diabetes Dash takes place in Doniphan, Nebraska. This community event is organized to generate funds for several initiatives, including diabetes programs at local hospitals, Type 1 Diabetes camps, and medical research focused on Type 1 Diabetes. The 2026 edition marks the ninth year this event has been held.

The event features multiple participation options to accommodate different preferences:

Virtual 5K

The physical race activities are centered around the community of Doniphan. Following the 5K event, an awards ceremony is held at Ozzy's Tavern. Participants are provided with one drink as part of their entry for the day. Participants who cannot attend in person have the option to join the Virtual 5K category.
