Half Hastings and 5K 2026
Half Hastings and 5K is a community running event in Hastings, NE on May 30, 2026. The event includes multiple race options and uses two main locations for race starts and finishes.

- Half Marathon Relay, teams of 2 or 3, legs approx 4.6, 3.7, 4.8 miles
Packet pickup is available the day before the races at Hastings Middle School. Free parking is provided at Hastings Middle School and at Hastings College Lynn Farrell Arena. Buses will transport runners between the Arena and the Half Marathon start and will return runners to the Middle School parking area after the race. Awards are presented in Hastings College Stadium after each race.
All half marathon and 5K participants receive a medal. Participants receive running singlet style race shirts and there is a unisex loose fit dri fit shirt option for 2026. Race day shirt guarantee is May 21. Finish area amenities include breakfast burritos and other food, and locally brewed beer available downtown after the event. Community support is provided along the courses.
Registration fees vary by event and by date. Sample fees: half marathon from $50 early to $95 last minute, 5K from $25 early to $45 last minute, fun run $15, relay from $95 to $160. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
