Event overview
The Don Doan Dash takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The event offers two distances and is open to runners and walkers. The overall event has a maximum field cap of 400 entrants, with separate caps for the distances listed below. A technical shirt is included with entry for the first 300 registrants.

Course and facilities
The course is a loop around Professor’s Lake that starts and finishes at the recreation centre parking lot. Key route points include North Park Drive, a turnaround at Pleasant Valley Place, Panda Lane, Porteous Circle, and the lake path. The route is described as generally flat with a few small hills. Roadways will not be closed for the race, so participants should use paths and sidewalks and take care when crossing intersections.
Water stations are located at the 2.5K and 5K marks. Indoor washrooms and changing facilities at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre will be available. A bag drop area will be provided inside the recreation centre.
Rules, parking and awards
Strollers are permitted and should line up near the rear at the start. Pets and roller blades are not allowed. Designated parking is available at the recreation centre (capacity 80 cars) and at St. John Bosco School, with nearby street parking as overflow. All finishers receive a medal; top three male and female finishers receive awards and there are post-race draw prizes. The event supports ALS Canada.
