Event Overview
The FPS PTO Dolphin Dash is a fundraising event organized by the Farragut Primary School Parent-Teacher Organization. It is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Farragut Primary School.
Distances
- 5K run/walk: Prizes are available for place finishers. The event is open to everyone and participants can run, jog, or walk.
- Kids Dash: For children ages 3 to 8. Dashes are separated by age: 3-4 year olds run a 50-yard dash, while 5-6 and 7-8 year olds run 100-yard dashes. Children can participate in both the Kids Dash and the 5K.
Event Details
Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the school's cafeteria. Participants who register before March 15th are guaranteed an event shirt. The 5K route is 3.1 miles.
A separate, related event called Finley's Fun Run will take place for students at the school on Thursday, April 23, during the school day.
Purpose
All proceeds from the event will fund additional playground equipment designed for students with limited mobility, aiming to create expanded independent play areas. The fundraising goal is $20,000. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
