Dogwood Classic 5K Run/Walk
The Dogwood Classic 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the site at the west parking lot of 2250 Cherokee Boulevard. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and a separate kids race.
The course is USATF certified and runs as a loop on Cherokee Boulevard, beginning and ending at the west parking lot. Post-race refreshments will be available in the event tent.

Packet pickup is available early on Wednesday, April 29 at Runner’s Market in Bearden and on race day at the event site. Unisex t-shirts are provided; pre-registered entrants through April 21 are guaranteed shirts. Registrations after April 21 will receive shirts while supplies last; the shirt order is placed April 22 and no re-orders will be made. A No Tee, Plant a Tree option is offered during registration.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, age-group winners, and several specialty categories including Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters for male and female competitors. The race is part of the 2026 Grand Prix team competition; Grand Prix eligibility requires KTC membership and volunteering at a minimum of three KTC races. Course rules prohibit roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs; the 5K course closes at 1 hour 15 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
