The Dogwood Classic 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Knoxville, TN. The event location is the west parking lot at 2250 Cherokee Boulevard, Knoxville, TN 37919. The in-person events include the following distances:

The 5K is a USATF certified loop course that begins and ends at the west parking lot on Cherokee Boulevard.
Logistics and additional information
Packet pickup is available early on Wednesday, April 29 at Runner’s Market in Bearden and on race day at the venue. Registration fees vary by date and category; early, standard, late, and race day prices apply and there are separate youth pricing rules. Registrations are nonrefundable and bib transfers are not permitted. Pre-registered entrants receive unisex t-shirts if registered by April 21; shirts for later registrants are provided while supplies last. Awards are given to top three overall, age groups, and specialty categories including Masters and Grandmasters by defined age thresholds. The race is part of the Knoxville Track Club Grand Prix team competition; Grand Prix eligibility requires KTC membership and volunteering at a minimum number of KTC races. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on course. Post-race refreshments will be available in the event tent.
