Doggy Dash 5K & Fun Run/Walk in Fort Worth
The Doggy Dash is a dog friendly run and fun run/walk held at Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth on January 31, 2026. The event is organized by Cox Running Club and Woodshed Smokehouse and donates 100% of proceeds to Love & Paws Rescue, a foster based dog rescue.
Both races are chip timed and dogs must be registered to attend. Hydration stations for humans and dogs are located at the halfway or turnaround point.

Post race activities include vendor booths featuring local small businesses, games and music, adoptable dogs from Love & Paws Rescue, and family friendly activities. The event is capped at 300 participants. Dog registration is listed at $10; other registration fees vary by registration period.
Finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal and a swag bag; 5K finishers are offered a breakfast item and a choice of beer or soft drink. Dog finishers receive a Redbarn meaty bone. Event shirts are available for purchase during registration with limited quantities on race day.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Ruff Resort & Spa in Fort Worth and on race day at Woodshed Smokehouse. Awards for the 5K include overall and master winners and age group awards for standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
