Dog Jog 5K and Fun Run - Columbus
CHA Animal Shelter presents the 36th Annual Dog Jog on October 4, 2026 in Genoa Park at 303 W Broad St, Columbus, OH. The event offers both an in-person option in downtown Columbus and a virtual option with a participation window that extends through October 11, 2026.
The in-person event includes a scenic run or walk along downtown routes and a collection of vendor booths, games, and other on-site activities. Virtual participants will not be officially timed and will not have access to on-site festivities; they may complete the distance on neighborhood routes, local bike paths, or other safe locations between October 4 and October 11.
Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026. The published registration fee is $40.00. When registering, participants can choose either the in-person option or the virtual option.
