Dog Days of Summer 5K
The Dog Days of Summer, presented by Beach Automotive, is a community running event held in Myrtle Beach. The race serves to support South Paw Rescue, a local organization dedicated to helping dogs in need. The event is centered at the Tidal Creek Brewhouse, which also provides the location for race-day activities and the start line.

Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Black Dog Running Company on Farrow Parkway, as well as on the morning of the event at Tidal Creek Brewhouse. Parking is provided in the lot directly across from the brewery.
The event recognizes top performers across various categories. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place male and female overall winners. Additionally, awards are distributed across several age divisions, including under 9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Winners must be present at the ceremony to receive their awards. Following the race, breakfast specials are available at the venue for participants to refuel.
