Event Information
The Dog Days 5K is an annual road running event held on July 11, 2026, in Hudson, Illinois. The race takes place at the address 17485 E 2500 Rd N.
Course Details
The course uses a portion of Lake Bloomington's Inner-Loop, with the start and finish located next to Green Gables. The route is on asphalt roads and is not closed to traffic, so participants must use caution. There will be two water stops along the way. The use of headsets and strollers is not allowed during the race.
Registration and Awards
The event offers two registration options: a standard 5K and a 5K - No Shirt option. Bib and shirt pickup is available on race day at the race site. No discounts are offered from July 1st onward, and there are no race-day discounts.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners. The top three finishers, male and female, in each of the following age groups also receive awards: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
