16th DOCF Teal Ribbon 5K Run-Walk to Fight Ovarian Cancer
The event is a community 5K at Rockford Park, Lookout Drive, Wilmington, DE, organized by the Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation. It is the 16th edition and includes in person run and walk options, a competitive walking division that requires walking the entire course, and a virtual 5K option that includes shirt shipment.
The race day program features registration, a survivors group photo, an opening ceremony, and the race itself. Timing is performed with chip timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system and results will be posted online. Photos will be shared after the event on the race organizer page.
Entry options and fees are listed for in person and virtual participation. Examples of published fees include pre registration and day of event pricing for the 5K run and walk, a separate fee for competitive walking, and a virtual 5K fee that includes shipping of the event shirt. Mail in entries are accepted using the official entry form and mailed to DOCF 5K, 701 Sweetleaf Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808. Make checks payable to DOCF.
Amenities include event shirts for pre registered participants and for race day while supplies last, plus post race refreshments. Awards are given by overall and age group categories, with specific awards for survivors and walkers.
