DLS 5k & 1 Mile for Lewy Body Dementia
The third annual DLS 5k and 1 mile event takes place on August 22, 2026, at Bon Air Park & Rose Gardens in Arlington, VA. Proceeds will benefit the Lewy Body Dementia Association. Courses are out and back and are described as mostly flat along the W&OD Trail. The start and finish are located on the trail at Bon Air Park & Rose Gardens. All finishers will receive a t-shirt, though a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for registrations after July 22. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers.

- Kids' dash (approx 300 meters)
Registration details vary by race. The regular 5k and 1 mile registrations list a fee of $35 and $25 respectively, and the kids dash lists a $15 fee. Registration windows are provided for each event. Timing will be done manually using a race clock and bibs; no chip timing is used. Participants may walk, jog, run, spectate, or volunteer and there are no pace requirements.
