Dirty Spokes Mayhem on the Mountain, Sawnee Mountain Preserve
The event is the 11th annual Dirty Spokes Mayhem on the Mountain trail run, held on Jan 9, 2027 at Sawnee Mountain Preserve in Cumming, Georgia. It is part of a Trail Run Series. Registration is limited to 275 runners due to parking availability and trail capacity.

Pricing for the distances is tiered by registration date. For the 5.15 Mile race the fees are $45 through Dec 26, $50 from Dec 27 to Jan 7, and $55 on race day. For the 3.0 Mile race the fees are $40 through Dec 26, $45 from Dec 27 to Jan 7, and $50 on race day.
A Super Soft tri-blend shirt is included with registration, available in men's and women's sizes, with no guarantee of availability for late or race day registrations. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each category. Age categories include 14 and under, 15-19, then five-year groups through 80 and older, plus Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters for both male and female divisions.
The course uses a newer trail system intended to provide access to the North Georgia Mountains without extended travel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
