The route is mostly flat, mostly on trail with only 0.2 miles paved, and includes water stops and varied terrain.
Race amenities include post-race refreshments, complimentary beer and snacks for participants with a racing bib, and guaranteed socks for the first 500 registered runners. Registration options include a personalized bib, hat, and socks for registrants who select the 10K entry.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, the first male and female Babylon Village resident finisher, and top three in each age group. Each age group winner receives a complimentary class at two local fitness studios as part of the prize offering.
Proceeds support the Babylon Rotary Foundation to assist local food pantries and soup kitchens.
