Dirty Feet Trail Run #4 - Kenna Cartwright Park, Kamloops
This trail run takes place in Kenna Cartwright Park in Kamloops and offers three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km.
The park contains more than 25 km of trails. Course surfaces include roots, rocks, and dirt, with sections on double track to allow passing and portions on single track. The route has gentle hills and provides views of the Thompson River valley and Kamloops Lake. Vegetation includes sagebrush and shaded areas under trees. Local wildlife such as birds, deer, and coyotes are frequently seen in the park.
Course maps from 2024 are available and may be updated for 2026. Merchandise including shirts, hoodies, and hats will be available for purchase on site; cash and credit cards are accepted. Optional participant medals can be purchased in advance for $10 or on race day for $15.
Aid station planning varies by distance: no aid stations for the 5 km, one aid station near 7 km for the 10 km, and one aid station near 10 km plus one at the finish for the 21 km. Stations are listed to include water, an electrolyte drink, gummies, jelly beans, coffee, and chips. Participants in the 21 km are advised to carry water for sections such as the ridge trail.
