Dirty Feet Trail Run #4 : Kenna Cartwright Park (Kamloops)
The event takes place at Kenna Cartwright Park in Kamloops. Three distances are offered: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km. The park has over 25 km of trails and provides views of the Thompson River valley and Kamloops Lake.
Courses run on a mix of double track to allow passing and single track sections. Trail surfaces include roots, rocks and dirt, with shaded areas from trees and stretches of sagebrush. Local wildlife such as birds, deer and coyotes are frequently seen in the park.
Course maps from previous years exist and may be updated for 2026. Race merchandise such as shirts, hoodies and hats will be available for purchase at the event. Optional participant medals can be purchased in advance or on race day. Aid station coverage varies by distance: no aid stations on the 5 km course, one aid station on the 10 km course around 7 km, and aid at about 10 km and at the finish for the 21 km course. Aid stations are stocked with water, an electrolyte drink, gummies, jelly beans, coffee and chips. Runners in the 21 km race are advised to carry water on course.
