Dirty Feet - Beat the Buzzer
Dirty Feet - Beat the Buzzer is a Backyard Ultra style trail running event located at Stake Lake, near Kamloops, British Columbia. The competition follows a specific timed format where participants must complete a 6.5 km loop every hour. A new lap starts every hour on the hour, and only those who finish the previous loop before the buzzer are permitted to continue.
Participants can choose from several categories based on their intended duration and team size:
- Solo Under 6 Hours: For individual runners planning to complete 6 hours or less.
- Solo Over 6 Hours: For individuals looking to run for more than 6 hours.
- Team of 2 Under 6 Hours: A duo alternating laps for a total of 6 laps or fewer.
- Team of 2 - 24 hour max: A duo alternating laps for a maximum duration of 24 hours.
The event is open to participants of all ages. There is no race day registration available, so all entries must be completed in advance.
