Event overview
The Dirty Dozen Endurance Run 2026 takes place at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline in Richmond, California. The event offers multi-hour endurance races: 12-hour, 6-hour, and 3-hour formats. Entry for any race includes an all-day picnic.
Format and course
All races use a gentle loop of 3.37 miles, made up of about 98% dirt fire trails. The loop runs along the shoreline, offering views of multiple bridges and mountains, and returns through eucalyptus groves. Individuals and teams may enter. Teams of two or three may alternate laps to create a total team distance. Any participant who completes a single lap is recorded as a finisher.
On-course support and registration
Runners pass the start/finish area each loop and may use that area to refuel, change shoes or clothing, and visit support personnel. Support crews may set up personal aid stations near the start/finish. The event provides a variety of hot and cold food at the venue. Registration fees vary by event category and by registration period and are listed by category for individual and team entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
