Dirty Dozen Endurance Run : Point Pinole Regional Shoreline, July 25, 2026
The Dirty Dozen Endurance Run is a timed trail event held at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline on July 25, 2026. The event offers multiple timed formats that run concurrently over extended periods and accommodates both solo participants and small teams.
Race formats include:
- 12 hour endurance run
- 6 hour endurance run
- 3 hour endurance run
All courses use a single gentle loop of 3.37 miles composed of approximately 98% dirt fire trails. The loop follows the shoreline with views of multiple bridges and nearby mountains, then returns through eucalyptus groves. Runners pass a central start and finish area each lap, where they can access food, change gear, and rest. Support crew may set up personal aid near that area.
Entry for any race includes an all day BBQ and picnic at the event site. The event notes that anyone who completes at least one lap is recorded as a finisher. Hikers and walkers are explicitly welcome to use the loop alongside runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
