DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon & Super Seven Autumn 2026
The event takes place on 18 October 2026 at the Wyre Forest, Callow Hill Visitor Centre. This is the tenth running of the Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon and includes a shorter Super Seven route.
Distances:
- Half Marathon (about 13 miles)
- Super Seven (about 7.6 miles)
The routes run through woodland and varied terrain, including ancient trees and forest landscapes. The event is a timed race with finishers medals for all competitors and category prizes, including real ale supplied by a sponsor. Organiser-provided services include race timing, medical support and a tail runner, public address and commentary shout-outs, fully signed and marshalled routes, and insurance cover. There are four water stations offering water and sweets.
Age and finishing rules: the half marathon is open to over 17s only; the Super Seven is open to over 14s. Competitors must finish within four hours, after which timing ends and the finish line will be removed.
Logistics and policies: the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre operates pay and display parking; a valid parking ticket or Forestry parking permit should be displayed. No refunds are issued under any circumstances, but entries may be transferred once to another DirtRun event if the organiser is notified before the event. The Wyre Forest cafe will be open for coffee, tea, cakes and hot food.
