Highley Aquathlon
Highley Aquathlon is a pool-to-run event based at the Halo Severn Centre and adjacent Severn Valley Country Park. Swimming takes place in the outdoor 25 m pool at the leisure centre. Run courses leave the centre and follow paths through the country park on a mix of surfaces. Some run routes are described as hilly or undulating and include gravel and off-road sections. Transitions occur on a short tarmac section.
Event categories cover adult and multiple junior distances. Entry is available online and entries close 14/09/2026 for listed races. The organiser expects around 60 competitors. The event lists accessible changing, accessible parking, accessible toilets, showers, parking, finishers medals, prizes, and results published on the event website. A permit is noted as in progress.
Distances include:
- Adult Aquathlon: 400 m swim, 5 km run.
- Junior TriStar Start: 50 m swim, 600 m run.
- Junior TriStar 1 (age 9-10): 150 m swim, 1500 m run.
- Junior TriStar 2 (age 11-12): 250 m swim, 2000 m run.
- Junior TriStar 3 (age 13-14): 400 m swim, 3000 m run.
