DINO Trail Run - Southwestway Park
The event is a trail run held at Southwestway Park in Indianapolis, located at 8400 Mann Rd. The race date is Saturday August 15th, 2026. The venue overlooks the White River and is described as one of the longest-running Trail Run Series stops in the DINO series.
Two course options are offered:
- 5K
- 15K a 5K lap followed by a 10K lap
Course difficulty is rated Hills 4 and Surface 3 on a 1 to 5 scale. GPX files and course maps are provided for both distances. Registration is available online through race start and prices increase the Wednesday at midnight prior to the event. Pricing listed is 5K for $30 and 15K for $35, with day of entry charged an additional $5 or more. A kids run is free and typically covers about 1/4 to 1/2 mile depending on venue.
Race rules require a visible race number on the front, following marked trails, courteous communication when passing, and no headphones or dogs. There is no strict time limit but participants taking longer than 2 1/4 hours may miss awards and experience limited services. Awards are given to the overall top three in each distance and to top three in each age group. The event is the final race in the 5K/15K DINO Trail Run Series.
