DINO Trail Run - Southwestway Park
The DINO Trail Run at Southwestway Park is scheduled for Saturday August 15th, 2026 at 8400 Mann Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46221. The event offers two measured course options and includes a free kids run.
Distances
- 15K - 5K lap followed by a 10K lap.
- 5K - single 5K lap.
The organizer rates the course with Hills 4 and Surface 3 on a 1 to 5 scale. The trail overlooks the White River. GPX files and course maps are provided for both distances and a combined file; map distances may vary with the mapping apps used.
Registration is available online through race start and prices increase the Wednesday before the event at midnight. Entry fees are listed as 5K = $30 and 15K = $35, with day of entry carrying an additional charge and the kids race listed as free. A season pass or four race bundles may reduce cost for multiple events.
Race rules require the race number to be visible, adherence to marked trails, courteous passing, and no headphones or dogs. If a participant drops out they should report to the finish area. There is no formal time limit but participants taking longer than two and one quarter hours may miss awards or experience limited services.
Awards are given to the top three overall in each distance and to top three finishers in each age group. Age groups run from 0-9 up to 80 plus. Door prizes are drawn at the award ceremony. No refunds are available and transfers are restricted near the event date; a $20 service fee applies for participant to participant transfers.
