Event overview
The Geist Waterfront Triathlon takes place on August 30, 2026, at Geist Waterfront Park, 10811 Olio Rd, Fishers, IN 46040. This is the second year the Olympic and Sprint triathlon formats are held at the new park. The event is organized by Ruble Triathlon and includes triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, and relay options.
Course details
Distances listed for the main triathlon formats:
- Sprint: 500 yard swim (beach start), 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
- Olympic: 1500 meter swim, 25 mile bike (two laps), 6.2 mile run.
The swim takes place in the reservoir with a beach entry. The bike course loops around the reservoir on county roads with mild rollers and paved surfaces. The run is an out-and-back route on paved trails and through a waterside neighborhood.
