About the Event
The DINO Trail Run is a running event at DePauw Nature Park in Greencastle, Indiana. This marks its return to this location for the first time since 2013.
Event Distances
The event offers three race distances:
- A 5k Trail Run
- A 15k Trail Run
- A Kids Race
The Course
The course takes place within DePauw Nature Park, which features views of rock quarry cliffs. The running surface is described as mostly crushed stone. While there are a couple of steep hills with a 50 to 100-foot vertical climb, the majority of the route has very mild grades.
Registration
Registration closes on April 15, 2026, for the 5k and 15k events. The Kids Race registration closes on the morning of the event, April 18, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
