DINO 7K Trail Run
The event is a 7 km trail race at Potato Creek State Park in South Bend, Indiana on June 20, 2026. The course is a lollipop loop with wide, stable paths and two hills; course difficulty is listed as Hills 2 and Surface 1 on a 1 to 5 scale.
Entry pricing is stated as Early $30, $35 (April 20), and $40 day of the event. The event is part of the DINO Trail Run Series and offers bonus points for series standings. All finishers in a bonus race receive at least 1 point. A finish in the top 10% of men or women earns 10 points; finishes in the 80 to 90 percent range earn 9 points. Points continue to scale so that the bottom 10% of finishers earn 1 point.
Race day rules require that race numbers be visible on the front, that runners follow the marked trail and avoid short cutting, and that runners be courteous when passing. Headphones and dogs are not permitted. If a runner drops out, they should report that at the finish area.
Age groups are divided by sex and by these brackets: 0-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Overall top three finishers in each distance receive medals; additional age-category top three finishers also receive medals.
