Event Details
The Griffin 10K Trail Run is a 10 km trail run taking place on a Saturday in August. The event location is Griffin Bike Park at 10700 Bono Rd, Terre Haute, IN. Camping is available at nearby Fowler Park.
The course consists of two laps around Stryker Lake. The terrain is described as moderate with generally stable footing and rolling hills. Much of the route is wide enough for passing.
Registration & Series Points
Online registration closes on the Wednesday prior to the event. Race day registration is available on-site. The event is a bonus race for the DINO trail run series. All finishers receive at least 1 bonus series point, with up to 10 points available based on finish position within gender rankings.
Awards & Categories
Overall top three finishers in each distance receive medals. Top three finishers in each age category also receive medals. Age groups are separated by gender and decade (0-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). Random door prizes are given at the awards ceremony.
Race Day Information
Headphones and dogs are not permitted on the course. Race numbers must be worn on the front and be visible. There is no official time limit, but participants taking longer than 2 hours and 15 minutes may experience limited services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
