Griffin 10k Trail Run : August 1, 2026
The event is a 10k trail run held at Griffin Bike Park in Terre Haute, Indiana (10700 Bono Rd). The race is scheduled for August 1, 2026 and is run simultaneously with the DINO Gravel Triathlon. Camping is available at Fowler Park.
Course and difficulty
The course is two laps around Stryker Lake. Terrain is described as moderate with generally stable footing and rolling hills. Much of the route is wide enough for passing or lapping other runners. Difficulty ratings are Hills 2 and Surface 2 on a 1-5 scale.
Entry, fees and series points
Online registration closes the Wednesday prior to the event; onsite registration is allowed. Entry fees are $30 through online close and $40 on race day. This race is a bonus event in the Indiana Trail Run Series and offers up to 10 bonus points. All finishers receive at least 1 bonus point. The top 10% of men or women earn 10 points, the 80% to 90% bracket earns 9 points, and the distribution continues down to 1 point for the bottom 10%.
Rules and awards
Race numbers must be worn on the front and visible. Runners must follow marked trails, avoid short cutting, and be courteous when passing. Headphones and dogs are not permitted. There is no time limit, but finishes longer than 2 1/4 hours may result in missed awards or limited services. Overall top three and top three in each age category receive medals.
