Event Overview
The DINO Gravel Triathlon is a multi-sport event in Terre Haute, Indiana, featuring several disciplines. The event is described as Indiana's only gravel triathlon.
Distances and Disciplines

- Triathlon: A 500 m lake swim, a 12 mile gently rolling gravel bike ride, and a 5 km moderate trail run.
- Duathlon: A 5 km moderate trail run, a 12 mile gently rolling gravel bike ride, and another 5 km moderate trail run.
- Kayak Triathlon: A 1 km paddle, a 12 mile gently rolling gravel bike ride, and a 5 km moderate trail run.
- 10K Trail Run: A standalone 10K trail run.
Relay team options are available for the triathlon, duathlon, and kayak triathlon.
Course Details
The gravel bike segment is described as relatively flat with very gentle hills. The trail run is noted as moderate, with a mostly stable surface and a few short inclines and declines. Most of the route is wide enough for easy passing.
Series Participation
The 10K Trail Run offers a chance to earn bonus points for participants in the DINO Trail Run Series. All finishers receive at least one point, with a potential for up to 10 points based on performance ranking.
