DINO Gravel Triathlon - Terre Haute, IN
The DINO Gravel Triathlon takes place at Griffin Bike Park, 10700 Bono Rd, Terre Haute, IN on August 1, 2026. The event offers multiple race formats that combine a short swim or paddle, a gravel bike leg, and a trail run. Camping is available at Fowler Park across the road.

- Triathlon 500 m swim, 12 mile gravel bike, 5 km trail run
- Duathlon 5 km trail run, 12 mile gravel bike, 5 km trail run
- Kayak Triathlon 1 km paddle, 12 mile gravel bike, 5 km trail run
- 10K Trail Run 10 km trail course
Registration and fees: online registration closes the Wednesday at midnight prior to the event, and in person registration is available. A USA Triathlon one day membership may be purchased during registration for $14. Price tiers are listed on the event page; day of entry is available. Kayak rentals are offered while supplies last.
Course and equipment notes: the gravel ride is relatively flat with gentle hills and most sections are wide enough for passing. The trail run uses mostly stable surfaces with short ups and downs. Allowed bicycles include mountain and cyclocross types; two working hand brakes and a properly fastened certified helmet are required. Headphones and earbuds are not permitted during the race.
Points and awards: the 10K Trail Run awards bonus series points to finishers, with a scale that awards at least one point to all finishers and up to ten points for top placements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
