Diamond Hill
Diamond Hill is a mountain running event organised by the Irish Mountain Running Association in County Galway on Saturday 22nd August 2026. The main route covers 7.10 km with 440 m of climb and there is a short course of 2.90 km.

The route is fully marked and GPS use is not allowed. The event carries an official difficulty rating of 3. Entries open Monday 17th August 2026 at 21:00 and close Monday 21st September 2026 at 18:00. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. The entry list shows 0 of 250 places entered.
Mandatory Level B kit must be brought to the event. This includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. The kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and clearly advised at registration. Failure to have the required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification and random checks may be carried out.
Parking is in Connemara National Park. Organisers suggest carpooling where possible because the car park may also be used by other visitors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
