Diablo Summit Stomp 2026 Trail Race
The Diablo Summit Stomp 2026 takes place on October 17, 2026, at Castle Rock Road in Walnut Creek, California. The event is held entirely on trails and includes various terrain features, including hills. The organizers permit both runners and walkers or hikers to participate in all available distances.
Participants can choose from four main event distances:
- 30K
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The event also offers a remote runner option for those unable to attend in person. For the half marathon distance, an early start option is available for those who anticipate taking longer than 3.5 hours to complete the course.
Awards are presented to the top three finishers in five-year age group categories, with smaller age categories established for younger participants. Registration periods are divided into extra early, early, and regular tiers, with prices increasing as the event date approaches.
