About the race
The Dia De Los Muertos 5K is an untimed run and walk scheduled for 11/01/2026 at Veteran's Memorial Square, 2003 Avenue M, Hondo, TX 78861, US. The event offers separate adult and kids 5K entries. Registration opens 9/28/2026 and closes 11/01/2026. Registration fees are $25 for adults and $15 for participants age 17 and under.

This event is explicitly untimed and no race bibs will be issued. Walkers, runners, and strollers are allowed. Sociable, leashed pets are permitted. A water station is provided at the 1.5 mile mark. T shirts are provided to participants who register by October 19; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt. The run is planned to take place rain or shine and may be delayed for dangerous conditions such as lightning.
