DFW Brain Tumor Walk & Race
National Brain Tumor Society hosts the DFW Brain Tumor Walk & Race at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 24, 2027. The event is organized to raise awareness and funds to support the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. Participation is offered both in person and virtually.
Participants may choose from the following route options:
- 5K run or walk
- 1 Mile walk
In-person options include timed runners, untimed runners, and walkers. Timed runners in 2027 will receive a finisher medal. Registration includes event t-shirts for those who register before March 24, 2027; shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. Registration fees increase 60 days before the event and again during event week. Virtual registration is free; virtual participants who raise at least $100 by March 24, 2027 will receive an event t-shirt mailed to arrive by event day.
Event highlights include a remembrance and survivor ceremony, a Why We Walk wall, an opening ceremony, awards, and a survivor group photo. The event is held rain or shine. The 5K course is not an official certified course and may not measure exactly 5K. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. A Kids Tent, light refreshments, and water will be available. Pets are not allowed inside the stadium due to stadium regulations. Security screening and participant wristbands will be used on site.
