Dewey Decimal Dash 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The Dewey Decimal Dash is the 10th annual community run and walk held to benefit the Haverford Township Free Library. The event takes place in Havertown, Pennsylvania, with the starting location at the front of the Haverford Township Free Library, 1601 Darby Road, Havertown, PA 19083. The date is November 7, 2026. Course information indicates the 5K route goes from Mill Road to Karakung Drive to Manoa Road and back. The 1-mile route runs from Mill Road to Earlington Road and back. The event includes a costume contest with a decade theme and prizes for best costume and best group costume. Additional awards include age-category prizes, largest group prize, fastest group prize, and a prize for most creative team name. Age categories listed are 0-12, 13-18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
