Devizes 10km
Devizes 10km is a road race organised jointly by LPS Events and Devizes Running Club, held in Devizes, Wiltshire. The event village is located on The Green and the course uses open roads, starting near Jacksons Close and finishing on The Green with a spectator-friendly straight. The route includes a midway water station and electronic timing with split times.
Entries are open with an approximate field of 325. There are no day entries; entries close the Wednesday before the race at 12:00 or earlier if capacity is reached. The start list is published online by the Tuesday prior to the event. Dogs are permitted in the event village on a lead but are not allowed on the course. Pushchairs and headphones are not permitted on the course.
Prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd open and 1st to 3rd female overall, plus multiple age-category first-place awards and team awards for the top three team times. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, free race photo downloads, recyclable-cup hydration stations and light snacks at the finish. The event has England Athletics permission and an England Athletics adjudicator will be present; the minimum age for participation is 15 and affiliated entries require a membership number or an event day licence.
Local sponsors include Zelf Self Store, Cross Manufacturing, Thermocold and Resolution Design. On-site services include sports massage, event photography and video, Cafe 2 U and Bake with Lil, which offers vegan and gluten-free options.
