About the race
The Devizes 10km is a road race organised jointly by LPS Events and Devizes Running Club. The event takes place on Sunday 27th September 2026 at The Green, Devizes, Wiltshire (SN10 3AA, What3Words ///golden.lake.kept) and has an entry field of approximately 325.
The race distance is 10 km on open roads. The course emerges from Jacksons Close near The Green, follows Nursteed Road toward Monument Hill, loops through surrounding villages and finishes on The Green with a spectator-friendly straight across the field. A mid-course water station is provided and water and light snacks are available at the finish; water is supplied in recyclable cups. The event is fully marshalled and uses electronic timing with split times and online updates. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and free photo downloads are included.
Entries are open through the organiser’s entry partner; there are no day entries and entries close on the Wednesday before the race at 12:00 or earlier if capacity is reached. The minimum age to take part is 15. The event is permitted by England Athletics and an England Athletics adjudicator will be present. Runners should note that, because the route uses open roads, dogs, pushchairs and headphones are not permitted on the course; dogs are allowed in the event village on a lead.
On-site facilities include an event village with refreshments, vendors, on-site sports massage sessions priced at £10 for 10 minutes, and event photography and video capture. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
