Derby Dash 5k - Williamstown, KY
The Derby Dash 5K is the 21st annual run/walk held in Williamstown, Kentucky on May 2, 2026. The event is staged at the Williamstown City Building and benefits FFLAG (Fitness For Life Around Grant County).
The program includes a 5K run/walk, a group rate for five or more adults registering together, and a youth entry for participants 16 years old or younger. A free kid’s fun run for children 10 and under will be held after the main event at the Williamstown City Building.
Chip timing is provided using a disposable bib tag on the race bib. Official results will be posted online at TimingSpot.com and on the Fitness For Life Around Grant County site. Registration fees cover chip timing, race awards, and refreshments. Pre-registration rates and group pricing are available through April 19, 2026; a separate race day registration option is offered with different fees.
Awards are given to the top two overall males and females among runners and walkers, and to top male and female finishers in each age category. Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. The largest registered group that signs up together will receive a group award. Walkers must walk the entire distance; anyone who runs any part of the course must register as a runner. Pets are not allowed on the course.
