Big Rex's Bottle Rocket 5K in Dry Ridge, Kentucky
Big Rex's Bottle Rocket 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, with the start area adjacent to the Dry Ridge City Building at 31 Broadway St and the finish on the outfield of Piddle Park. The event is organized by Ridge Runners Racing in partnership with Big Rex Fireworks and held in cooperation with the city of Dry Ridge.

The 5K follows a road course that begins at the intersection of Taft Highway and Race Street, proceeds along Taft Highway, turns right onto Dixie Highway (US 25) to a turnaround at Grant County Middle School, returns north on Dixie Highway, loops through School Street and Walnut Street, and finishes by turning down the alley past Grant County Drugs onto the ramp into Piddle Park. The kids course follows streets near the city building and also finishes inside Piddle Park.
