Dennis Chamber of Commerce May 5k Road Race/Walk
The event is a 5k road race and walk (3.1 miles) held on May 2, 2026 at Mayflower Beach in Dennis, Massachusetts. Registration opens January 13, 2026 and closes May 2, 2026; the registration fee is $30. T-shirts are provided to the first 100 registrants.
Participants are instructed to register and park at Mayflower Beach, across from 69 Horsefoot Path in Dennis Village. The course starts at the fire hydrant at 69 Horsefoot Path, across from the parking lot, and finishes at the same fire hydrant.
The route follows local streets in a loop. Horsefoot Path becomes Beach Street with a slight left. Runners then turn left onto Whig Street, left onto Pilgrim Road, and left onto Nobscussett Road, following the corner by Luscome Avenue. The course continues by turning right onto Shore Drive, staying left on Shore Drive, then left onto Bayview Road and left onto East Bayview Road. A right onto Beach Street returns the route as Beach Street becomes Horsefoot Path with a slight right at the stop sign before the finish.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top finishers male and female in the following age groups: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
