Event Details

The Dennis Chamber of Commerce May 5k Road Race/Walk takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Mayflower Beach in Dennis, Massachusetts. The event starts at 10:00 AM EDT and finishes at 11:15 AM EDT.

Awards and Prizes

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional top finisher awards are presented in the following age categories for both men and women:

70+
60-69
50-59
40-49
30-39
20-29
1-19

T-shirts are given to the first 100 people who register.

Race Course

The 5k route begins at a fire hydrant across from the parking area at Mayflower Beach. Participants register and park at Mayflower Beach, across from 69 Horsefoot Path. The course proceeds from Horsefoot Path onto Beach Street, Whig Street, Pilgrim Road, Nobscussett Road, Shore Drive, Bayview Road, East Bayview Road, and back onto Beach Street, finishing at the starting point on Horsefoot Path.
