Delco Run for Heroes 5K - 25th Anniversary

The event is the 25th annual Run for Heroes, a 5K held in Springfield, Pennsylvania on Sunday 10/11/2026. The course winds through the Scenic Hills and Colonial Park section of the Township. The race offers cash prizes for top racers and is also described as a family-friendly course. Proceeds benefit the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Fund, which supports children of Police, Firefighters and EMS Responders who died in the line of duty.

Due to construction of the new Twp Building the race will start and finish next door at the Springfield Library (70 Powell Rd). Race/tech shirts will be given to the first 250 participants who check in on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
