Course and logistics
The 2025 race uses a new course that begins and ends on East Winter Street near the Delaware Library. The route passes local landmarks including The Strand Theatre, 1808 and Mi Cerrito, runs up Sandusky Street, continues on Wilmer, includes an out-and-back section on Henry Street, and crosses a pedestrian bridge above Route 23 before returning on East Winter Street. Portions of the course are coned down the middle to maintain traffic patterns; Sandusky Street (William to Wilmer) uses the parking lane and one running lane, and Winter Street (Lake St to Estelle St) will be coned with runners on the right lane.
Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the race at New Beginnings Church (2163 St Rt 37 E, Delaware, OH). Parking is available in city lots around Winter and Union streets; parking is free on the holiday. Portable restrooms will be placed near the start/finish. Friendly, leashed dogs and strollers are allowed. There is no race-day registration or packet pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
