About the race
Del Dios Trail Race takes place at Lake Hodges in Escondido, California (20188 Lake Dr, Escondido, CA 92029) on January 24, 2027. The event uses dirt service roads and single-track trails around the lake. Elevation gain on the courses ranges from 100' to 1000' depending on distance.
Distances offered:
- 50K
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Hercules DemiGod Challenge (complete Half + 10K + 5K within five hours; must start with the half and finish with the 5K to earn the DEMIGOD medal)
The race is designated as a Championship Qualifier event. Course routes are available as mapped running routes for each distance.
Packet pickup is scheduled on January 22 at Fleet Feet San Diego (5980 Village Way, San Diego, CA 92130, 3:30pm-6pm) and on January 23 at Columbia Store (3209 Lionshead Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92010, 11:00am-2:00pm).
Race day parking is located in the Lake Hodges Boat Ramp parking lot. All vehicles entering the gated park area must display a parking pass, either on a phone or in the vehicle; parking passes will be made available in January 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
