DeKalb Firefighter 5K/10K

The First Annual DeKalb Firefighter 5K/10K takes place Saturday, May 31, 2025 in De Kalb, Missouri at location J2FM+98P. The event is held under a special use permit from the Missouri Department of Conservation and emphasizes public land access and community support for local firefighters.

The course follows a mix of single track trail and old logging roads across conservation land. The event is cupless to reduce waste, so participants should bring reusable hydration containers. Water and electrolytes will be available at the start/finish area and at one aid station along the course. The race will be officially timed and results will be posted after the event.

Participants must check in prior to their race start; bib numbers and race details will be provided at check-in. Awards will be given to the top male and top female finishers.
