Race format and participant information
The DEKA FIT course is 5 km long and includes 10 functional training zones. Each zone is preceded by 500 m of running. The zones begin with basic movements and progress so that zones 6-10 require full-body effort. Multiple heat types are offered, ranging from Age Group to Elite.
Registered athletes may participate in the Athlete Judge Program. Athletes receive a sign-up form before the event and can serve a 60-minute judging shift at the Athlete Judge check-in area at Zone 1 either within one hour after finishing or at any time before their race. Finishers receive a finisher tee, a medal with lanyard, and a DEKA FIT Trifecta wedge for completing related DEKA events in the same year. Event results are posted on global DEKA leaderboards. A service member discount of up to 20% is available to eligible US personnel and government employees after verification via GOVX.
