Défi Pointe-Claire - Cours avec moi 2026
Défi Pointe-Claire takes place on June 14, 2026 at Parc Valois in Pointe-Claire. The event is built on the "Cours avec moi" idea, emphasizing community, mutual support and inclusive participation across ages.
Course and distances:
- 1 km - one loop suitable for children and families
- 5 km - one loop through Parc Valois
- 10 km - two laps of the 5 km course
- 15 km - three laps of the 5 km course
The course includes a mix of park trails and open sections. First aid stations and trained volunteers are positioned along the route. Water stations are available every 2.5 kilometres. Roads along the route will remain open for the 5 km, 10 km and 15 km with traffic control; the 1 km route will have closed streets. Strollers and dogs are not permitted. Headphones are allowed. Walking is permitted for the 1 km, 5 km and 10 km distances.
The first 300 registered participants receive a free T shirt. Total participant capacity is limited to 1,600. A light snack will be provided after the races. Funds raised go to the Club de Canoe Kayak de Pointe Claire to support athletes for competitions and training camps.
