Columbus Humane’s 20th Annual Defend Your Friend 5K and Dog Festival

Columbus Humane organizes a community 5K and Dog Festival on September 13 at Bank Run Metro Park in Lockbourne, Ohio. The event combines a timed 5K run or walk with a dog focused festival featuring vendors and activities for attendees and their pets.

Proceeds support Columbus Humane’s Animal Cruelty Investigations, which operate across Franklin County. Humane agents involved with those investigations work year round to advocate for, educate about, and rescue animals in need.

The first 400 registrants will receive swag bags and event T shirts. The event is described as dog friendly and family friendly. Race registrations are non refundable and non transferable.
