Deer Creek AquaRun and Open Water Swim
HFP Racing adds two event types to its traditional multisport 2026 race season at Deer Creek in New Holland, Ohio. The additions are an Open Water Swim and an AquaRun, offered alongside existing triathlon, duathlon and aquabike options.
Both the Open Water Swim and the AquaRun use the same triathlon swim course for the two distances offered. The AquaRun combines an open water swim with a 5K run that follows the swim portion. The new events will start in coordination with the multisport events of the same distance.
Event distances offered include:
- Open Water Swim 1500 meter Olympic
- Open Water Swim 750 meter Sprint
- AquaRun 1500 meter swim plus 5K run Olympic
- AquaRun 750 meter swim plus 5K run Sprint
The event date is June 7, 2026, at 14403 Crownover Mill Road, New Holland, Ohio 43145. The Open Water Swim and AquaRun provide swim-only and swim plus run formats on the established triathlon swim course for both Olympic and Sprint distances.
