The Decem-burrrr Dash is the 8th annual 5K held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at West Johnston High School in Benson, North Carolina. The event takes place on the high school campus and uses a mixed course of road and cross-country terrain. The race course starts on the track and finishes on the football field goal line.

Proceeds support Boy Scout Troop 333 of Johnston County and the West Johnston Developing Leaders Program.

Registration fees and deadlines:

$30 through November 28
$35 from November 29 through race day
A T-shirt is included for participants who register by November 16

Awards:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall for male and female
1st Place Masters for male and female
1st, 2nd, and 3rd in male and female age groups: 13 and under; 14 - 19; 20 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 and over
