Debbie Hopkins Memorial Run
The Debbie Hopkins Memorial Run takes place on April 11, 2026, in Brunswick, Ohio, with the event location at Crestview Elementary School, 300 W 130th St. The event includes multiple short-distance races and community-focused activities.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 100 yard Kids Dash for ages 8 and under
The 5K is chip timed and the 1 Mile is untimed. The Kids Dash is open to children age 8 and under. Runners with dogs and participants using strollers are asked to line up closer to the back of the pack to reduce congestion.
Registration options include pre-registration and race day registration, with different fees for adults and youth. Pre-registration prices for youth and adult categories differ from race day prices. Mailed entries must be received by April 8, 2026. Early packet pick up is available at Crestview Elementary the day before the race.
Participants receive a short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments; the Kids Dash does not include a shirt unless one is added for an additional charge. Awards are presented by a local trophy provider and include top overall male and female and age-group awards for multiple age categories.
