Deal Half Marathon 2027
The Deal Half Marathon takes place on 21 February 2027 at Betteshanger Country Park, Sandwich Road, Deal, Kent CT14 0BF. The accurately measured half marathon follows quiet rural roads through the villages of Betteshanger, Northbourne, Ripple, Sutton, East Langdon and Martin and starts on Betteshanger Road opposite the park entrance. The event is held under UK Athletics rules with a race cut off of 2 hours 50 minutes and a halfway split requirement of 1 hour 25 minutes.
A junior 1500m race for competitors up to 16 years old runs out and back along the cycle path on Betteshanger Road, with age group prizes in two year bands and prize giving after the race. All half marathon finishers receive a boot bag and a slate medal coaster with a miners helmet design reflecting the park's mining heritage.
Support on course includes water stations at miles 3, 5, 7.5 and 10, toilets at the race headquarters and a toilet point at mile 5. Race headquarters and parking are at Betteshanger Park; parking charges apply for the visit. Entries and results are managed via the Sports Systems website and a printable entry form is provided.
