Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run & Walk for Haiti

The Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5K Run & Walk for Haiti takes place in Southbury, Connecticut on April 25, 2026. The event is based at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury CT 06488. It includes a main 5K offered as both a run and a walk, plus a Kids Fun Run for participants age 12 and under.

Proceeds support the mountain community of Grand Boulage in Haiti. Funds are used for teacher salaries, school textbooks, lunches and clothing for children, and support for the local medical clinic.

Additional event details include a guaranteed free tech T-shirt for 5K runners and walkers who register by Sunday April 5th. Awards are given to the overall male and female 5K finishers and to the top three runners in each division. The event proceeds rain or shine. Course marshals and water stop teams are available on the course, and a course map is provided for preparation.
