Dayton Turkey Trot - Dayton, OH
The Dayton Turkey Trot is a road running event in Dayton, Ohio held on November 28, 2026. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kids Dash
Both the half marathon and 5K start and finish on the Welcome Stadium track and run on streets and paved paths along the Dayton riverfront. The half and 5K courses carry USATF certification number OH22005DH, effective through 12/31/2032. The event is chip timed; the timing chip is integrated with the bib.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for the half marathon and 5K. Age categories are defined from 10 & Under through 70+. Kids Dash participants receive a finisher award. Course time limits are listed for each distance.
Packet pickup is available at a designated pre-event location (Up and Running South, 6123 Far Hills Ave, Dayton) or at the event site on race morning; on-site pickup may involve wait times. Participant gear must be picked up or a mailing fee may apply. There is no gear check on site. Water stations supply water, with sports drink available at half marathon stations.
The event partners with the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter, which serves nine counties and supports more than 25,000 people living with dementia.
