Dawn's 5k Dash
Dawn's 5k Dash is the 11th annual running event scheduled for May 17, 2026 at Edgeley Grove Park, Annie's Playground entrance, 864 Smith Lane, Fallston, MD 21047. The event offers an in-person race and a virtual option; the advertised distance is 3.14 Miles.
Registration opens December 30, 2025. Online registration closes on May 10, 2026 and same-day registration is available until race morning. Participants who register by April 20, 2026 are guaranteed a race T-shirt and a finisher medal; T-shirts and medals are not guaranteed after that date or sooner if items sell out. Virtual entrants receive an official race T-shirt and shipping fees apply.
Entry fees vary by age and registration window. Early adult pricing is listed at $30, with higher fees for later registration and on race day. Reduced fees are provided for children and for very young children; infants in strollers are welcome and may be registered in the youngest child category to receive a shirt.
Event proceeds support a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation that focuses on the financial needs of pancreatic cancer patients. A $50 donation option is offered to add a name to the official race T-shirt; submissions for that option must be received by April 1, 2026. Parking capacity is limited and carpooling is recommended.
