Event Information
Dawn's 5k Dash is a running and walking event on Sunday, May 17, 2026. It is the 11th annual edition. The event supports the Dawn Hill Fight Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization that focuses on the financial needs of pancreatic cancer patients.
The event offers two formats:
- Dawn's 5k Dash: An in-person event at Edgeley Grove Park (Annie's Playground Entrance), 864 Smith Lane, Fallston, Maryland.
- Dawn's 5k Dash Virtual: A virtual option where participants can run or walk a 5k in their own neighborhood at a time of their choosing. Shipping fees apply for shirt delivery.
The event is open to all ages and abilities, with different pricing for adults, children, and infants. Pets on leashes are welcome. A race t-shirt and finisher medal are available, but a registration by April 20, 2026, is required to guarantee these items. Parking is available, but space is limited.

- Adults (13+): $30 early bird, then $35, then $40
- Children (5-12): $10 early bird, then $15, then $20
