Davie County Young Life 5K
The Davie County Young Life 5K takes place in Mocksville, North Carolina. The course is a certified 5K that is flat. It starts and finishes at Davie County High School, which offers ample parking and viewing areas for spectators.
All finishers receive a medal. There are awards for the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as for the top three male and female finishers in each age division. The age divisions are: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
The event supports sending local high school students to a Young Life Camp, with all proceeds directed to that cause.
An initial registration deadline is set for a preferred price and to guarantee a race t-shirt. Registration remains open online until the day before the race and is also available onsite on race morning.
